Aerial performance is using an apparatus such as aerial silks, hoop, trapeze or Corde Lisse to perform acrobatics while hanging from the ceiling. It is most popularly known through the Canadian circus company Cirque du Soliel.

Molly Kubes is an aerial performer with a gymnast background. “Aerial is an outlet that allows me to explore my passion for gymnastics and acrobatics while performing and creating a community rather than competition.” - Molly

Molly is a part of the Hamilton Aerial Group, performing at local festivals and events. She primarily uses her aerial hoop for performances but is interested in incorporating elements such as fire, LED lights, as well as partners in the future. A dream for Molly is to perform at Envision festival to her favourite artists. She will continue to express herself creatively and have fun performing live aerial shows at conscious festivals and events.
